Port Moody’s Shoreline Trail follows Burrard Inlet between Rocky Point Park and Old Orchard Park. The City describes two path options: a paved route shared with cyclists and a gravel walking route through parts of the shoreline landscape.
This is a walk worth doing without a stopwatch. The boardwalk, trees and water make each turn a little different. Former mayor David Driscoll is among the people the City credits with helping establish the trail as a public corridor.
Boardwalk sections and access can change during maintenance. Check the City’s current trail information before setting out, take care around other users and leave space for the shoreline habitat that makes the route special.
